  • Coming Soon!… Dr. Kawabata (Research Collaborator, Emerging Media Initiative, Kanazawa University) will participate in The 41st International Technical Conference on Circuits/Systems, Computers and Communications (ITC-CSCC2026) held in Bangkok, Thailand, from July 7 to 10, and is scheduled to give an oral presentation on July 8.
  • June 24… Dr. Kawabata has finished participation and presentation at the ITE Technical Committee on Media Engineering (ITE-ME) meeting, held at the Tottori Prefectural Lifelong Learning Center on June 22 and 23, 2026.
  • May 22… Dr. Kawabata participated and presented at the IEICE Image Media Quality (IMQ) Technical Meeting held at Kikai Shinko Kaikan Bldg., Tokyo, Japan on May 21.
  • May 1… The international conference paper presented by Dr. Kawabata at The 32nd International Display Workshops (IDW’25), Workshop on 3D/Hyper-Realistic Displays and Systems (3D), Cognitive Science of 3D Systems, Special Topics of Automotive Displays (held on December 3-5, 2025) has been published as open access.
  • May 1… One conference proceeding has been accepted to ITC-CSCC2026.
  • April 1… As of today, Dr. Kawabata has resumed his activities as the Principal Investigator of the Computational Imaging Lab. Concurrently, he has been appointed as a Research Collaborator at the Emerging Media Initiative, Kanazawa University.
